The model was good at portraying the electron clouds. It also showed the idea that waves and particles are relatively similar.
Model Strengths

Niels Bohr proposed that electrons were arranged in concentric orbits around the nucleus.
Erwin Schrödinger used mathematical equations to discover the likelihood of finding an electron in a certain position.
James Chadwick discovered the neutron.
The Quantum Mechanical Model of the Atom was developed between 1913 and the 1940's.
