Academics
Accreditation
Academic Placement
It is important to note that even if the SAT or ACT is not required most schools will look at your transcripts or issue a placement test to ensure that you are placed in the correct classes based on your academic level.
Many schools belong to associations that check for compliance with standards. This process is called accreditation.
It is important to see that the school of your choice is accredited otherwise your degree and credits may not be accepted by other schools and employers.
Online Classes
Even if it is not an online school, many colleges offer courses online.
Consider taking some online classes to accommodate your schedule.
Part Time Study
Do you have a full time job? Do you have children? Are you ready to go to college full time?
Many schools allow students to attend part time.
This may work better with your schedule, but it will also take you longer to graduate and complete your degree.
Evening and Weekend Classes
Another option for making your college schedule work for you are evening and weekend classes.

Libraries and Computer Labs
Do you need a place to study or do research? You may want to know how many libraries there are on campus.

Do you need a computer to use? You may want to know how many computer labs there are, how late they are open, and how easy they are to access.
