Transcript of Solar Energy

Solar Energy Benefits Uses of solar power? Where does solar power come from? How does solar energy work? Disadvantages links definition www.youtube.com . Less gases released into the world. (reduced global warming)
.having solar panels saves you money.
. solar energy is environmentally friendly.
.solar energy is independant, as in a power outage it will continue to supply your home/business with electricity.
. Solar Energy systems are virtually maintenance free and will last for decades.
. solar power is renewable, we dont have to worry about the sunlight running out or using it all up. It costs a significient amount of money to buy and install solar panels as the actual construction costs alot. The production of solar energy is influenced by the presence of clouds or pollution in the air. . Solar power is created by sunlight streaming onto solar panels on the top of ones home or car. The energy is then fed into a generator and used for everyday uses around the home. at night a back up battery is used as there is no sunlight in the evening and early morning. Extra Information Video •energy from the sun that is converted into thermal or electrical energy; "the amount of energy falling on the earth is given by the solar constant, but very little use has been made of solar energy"

That if your solar panels collect more energy than you need, your meter will spin backwards and your power company will pay you for the surplus! Prezi created by Rachelle Dodd 7G Uses of Solar Energy
Our sense of time is marked by how and where we perceive the Sun, as our tilted planet spins daily. Yearly our planet orbits the Sun, and as a result of life's reactions to the changes of received energy at any location we perceive the Seasons.
As the Sun appears to be lower or higher in the horizion, and as Earth spins from West to East (so that the sun appears to moving from East to West) a stick's shadow will clearly change length and position throughout each day and through the year. By studying and reflecting on that stick's shadow, you may eventually understand our path, as the Earth spins, and orbits the Sun.

http://www.web.net/~sunwind/solar/solar_energy_uses.html After the solar panels have been installed, the process begins like this, the electrons from the sun's energy get soaked up through the panels, this is then sent to your battery which sends power throughout your house/building. It is simple yet complex.
