Rondeshia Bookhart What tasks does robot perform? They do things to help you walk or help you in your home. What human function or task does this robot simulate? Walking, directing, and talking. Where is this robot used? Streets, homes and hospitals What is its work envelope? Is the robotic end effector multi-functional? Yes it is multi- functional. It has Statically stable locomotion and manipulation How is the robot taught to perform its task? Voice commands What sensors does the robot have? How are the sensors used? Proximity, pressure, light, magnetic, camera, temperature, accelerometer, and speed sensor. They detect different things and send different amounts of electricity to the robot's controller board to tell their findings. Advantages and Disadvantages of the System Advantages:
Help people with disabilities live better and stronger
can, make life easier and gives people jobs What Types of Jobs/Careers Can This Robot Create or Have? They can make a new many kind of jobs like search and rescue missions. Describe the impact that this robot has had or could have have its intended audience. Robots help the world in many ways like finding sunken ships like the SS Portland Disadvantages:
takes the place of dogs of human that lead the blind
could break or not work
in the future they could take our jobs Predict and explain how this robot may be altered to perform more or different tasks in future We predict that robots will soon take over the world and the assistive jobs humans have now will be substituted by robots.
In the future they will not only be assisting in surgery and crossing guards but they will be assisting with much more complex jobs.
