One of the most amazing things about African dancing is the fact that it has been around since the beginning of mankind.
African dancing did in fact, come from cavemen. From cavemen, African dancing became a huge part of African tribes.
Most African villages had something called a "dance master" who taught members of a tribe African dancing starting at a very young age. At this time, there was no room for errors or improvisation.
Since the tribes carried the tradition of the African dance moves, this was then carried on to the slaved Africans. Since these Africans were brought to many different areas and spread apart, they not only used African dancing as an entertainment, this helped Africans to keep their cultural traditions and connect with their home country.
