Founder
Georgia was founded by James Oglethorpe in 1732
Colonial History Brief
In 1733, 116 settlers arrived in modern-day Savannah aboard the HMS ANNE. the world came to Georgia in the hopes of being awarded generous land grants and Georgia quickly become a major center for the export of rice, indigo, beef and pork. In 1742, British forces under James Oglethorpe attacked a garrison of Spanish soldiers near present-day St. Simon’s island in what came to be known as the Battle of Bloody Run. After about an hour, the Spanish were defeated and permanently abandoned their attempts to invade Georgia.

It was supposed to protect South Carolina from Spanish incursions. The inhabitants were charged with creating a number of forts along the border to help protect against invasion.

The economy of Georgia was depended on agriculture, tobacco, and parts of ships such as wood. They're economy was very diverse, the state is home to automobiles and airplane factories. Georgia is very rich in natural resources.

There were many different types of religion in Georgia since they had invited anyone in no matter what difference in religion they had.
Georgia accepts anyone that wishes to come regardless of religious difference. They are rich in natural resources and have a very good economy. Georgia is a great place to be to become rich and to be accepted.
