What is Digital Literacy?
Digital literacy is becoming skilled in accessing, evaluating and creating info from online and electronic sources.
the S.M.A.R.T Rules
'S'
Safe this means being careful when you are online and to never give out personal information. Such as where you live, your phone number or your real name.
'M'
Meeting this means that you must never meet up with someone that you don't personally know. You never know who they are.
'A'
Accepting this means that you must becarefull about who you allow to see your account on a public site or social media because they may not be who you think they are.
'R'
Reliable means that you have to make sure a person or website is reliable because not everything they write may be true
'T'
Tell this means that when you get a mean message or someone wants to follow you and you dont know them you must make sure to tell someone and take a screen shot.
Digital Footprints
Digital footprints are the evidence or history you leave in every website or software application you go on.

Cyberbullying
Cyberbullying is when you bully someone online. This can consist of mean text messages or mean prank calls. In extreme cases there can be death threats which is the gateway to being allowed to call the police. Cyberbullying is a crime and when it happens to you make sure you take a screen shot of it all so you can show it to the police as proof.
