Character Creation workshops will allow students to explore this very exciting avenue, allowing their creativity to flow not only through performing, but also through the craft of makeup and design. Makeup Training Services Product Analysis Makeup Training Services is passionate about education. We offer unique, tailored workshops to suit school aged students.

These include beginner makeup lessons complete with skin care routines (skin care is for boys too)!

Our Character Creation workshops can be worked into your schools current drama program. Students will have hands on experience at special effects makeup styles to suit their productions.

A first lesson in skin health/hygiene for teens including age appropriate basic makeup styles for the girls, and shaving tips for the boys

A character breakdown (genre/era) for current school drama production, and makeup to create the required characters A five week program (girls), and two week program (boys) with a maximum of 12 students per class Week by week breakdown of delivery for the girls Week 5 Week 2 Week 1 Week 4 Basic skin care & first makeup workshop Character design workshop - specialist makeup for drama programs Skincare simplified - a presentation on the importance of cleansing and moisturising

Product introduction and practical demonstration with student participation This session is designed to allow students to put together all the steps from weeks 1 - 4 and create a full day look makeup Week 3 Heidi has been lecturing in the industry since 2010 teaching both Certificate II and Diploma level qualifications.

Working at a private beauty academy and government training institutions, she has experience teaching senior students from the Student Apprenticeship Link (SAL), and VET in Schools programs. Most recently taking 6 months off lecturing to pursue further training in Special Effects makeup, Heidi spent 6 months working casually with the Australian Defence Force creating simulated injuries for training purposes. Heidi's industry experience includes fashion shows, working with photographers and working in television. As part of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in 2010, Heidi designed the makeup for the opening ceremony, and managed a team
of artists to assist with hair
and makeup requirements. In 2012, Heidi was invited to be part of the makeup team for Telethon 2012. Working within the Drama program, tailoring a workshop to teach students how to create specific character makeup to enhance their production.
