Blaze Orange Clothing When you are hunting deer you should always wear blaze orange because deer are color blind so they can't see you; and the orange so the other hunters can see you so that way they won't shoot at you. Not a lot of pop stars hunt, its more like barley any of them hunt. The group of famous people that hunt is the County singers. Toby Keith Aaron Tippin
Blake Shelton Miranda Lambert To process your deer meat first you have to gut it; but you should have already have done that when you shot the deer.

After you have gutted it and brought it back home you can skin it your self; because its really expensive to have someone else skin and gut your deer.

When your skinning your deer you should have it hanging upside down by its feet.

Once you get it skinned you can start to cut off the meat and bag it.

After you have it bagged put it into the freezer and keep it froze until you want to eat it. A license is FREE

But the deer tags & back tag cost 5$ If you want a gun license to hunt deer then you have to take a class.

To find a place wear you can take the class near you just look at your local DNR website

Hands on course When the first europeans came white tailed deer played an important role in providing food of them.

The army of Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto found venison and whitetail hides being used by many Indian tribes in Arkansas.

Deer management in Arkansas began in 1916, when a legislative act established a hunting season for deer, turkey and bear that lasted Nov. 11- Jan. 10.

The newly established deer season was accompanied by a bag limit of two buck deer. At that time the statewide deer population was about 2,000.

By the 1920s deer had been eliminated from many Arkansas counties, leaving an estimated 500 deer statewide.

By 1985 the deer population was estimated at 500,000 animals, and management emphasis shifted from herd growth to stabilization.

As either-sex deer hunting opportunity continued to increase in the 1990s, the public grew more accepting of doe harvest. In 2006, Johnny King took the shot of a lifetime, putting down a giant Wisconsin whitetail on his grandfather’s dairy farm. The 12-point whitetail was bigger than any buck King had laid eyes on in three decades of hunting.

The Wisconsin Buck and Bear Club estimated the buck would score 215” - enough antler to shatter Milo Hanson’s world record 213 5/8” Saskatchewan whitetail taken in 1995. White tailed deer hunting is in the fall.
But some of the youth hunts are in the spring. Thanks

Away from road Handicap Hunting A Disabled Hunter Permit authorizes qualifying individuals with disabilities to lawfully shoot game animals from a stationary motor vehicle. This includes big game animals such as deer, antelope, elk, and turkey, and small game animals such as grouse, pheasants, partridge, rabbits, and waterfowl.

A Disabled Hunter Permit is issued free-of-cost by GFP to qualifying hunters and is valid for a four-year period. Individuals will need to reapply for a permit renewal at that time.
The disabled hunter permit is intended for use in situations where an applicant's physical or medical condition makes it impossible, or causes severe pain or physical hardship on the applicant, when walking afield while hunting. Careers in DNR Hunting Employees in the Division of Fish and Wildlife, Department of Natural Resources, work in many different fields and have different background and training.
