Transcript of Theories of the Universe

Theories of the Universe There are many different theories about how the universe was created. Some people believe that the universe was created by the Big Bang others believe that God created everything. Others believe in a protouniverse, which means that a white hole created everything. A white hole is the opposite of a black hole becasue it spits everything out instead of sucking things in. The big bang states that the universe was created 13.7 billion years ago. The cause of the "bang" is still unknown but there are even more theories to try to explain it. The theory that God created the the universe is believed in by catholics and other religions.
Another theory is the bubble theory, it states that each universe is an enormous bubble along with an infinite number of other bubbles. Some physicists believe that some of these "bubbles" are right next to ours, but in another dimension There is also the Mayan Account theory, it states that three water serpents and three heaven dwellers created the Earth, according to their sacred book, the Popol Vuh. Back then not much is known about astronomy and the cosmos, so the people believed that the Universe was much smaller than it really was, and the Earth was at the center of it. Another theory is the Ancient Creation Stories it says that many people who lived during the ancient days of Greece and Rome believed in polytheism and some of their gods just “emerged from the void” and created everything. Although some of the great thinkers and mathematicians lived during these times, and proposed theories that the Earth was not flat, nor was it the center of the Universe. People still religiously believed the opposite, similar to the Mayans, with limited knowledge.
I personally believe in the big bang theory because it makes the most sense to me, I also think it is the most probable theory.
