in 1837 when John Deere made the
first steel plow in 1836. They now have more than
451 models of tractors
total in all the years they
have built them. John Dere tractors are
sold in over 27 countries
around the world. Main head quarters are
in Moline, Illinois. There are over 3,700
dealers in the United
States today. John Deere invented
the first tractor in 1918
it was called the waterloo
boy shown here.
