The Persian Tobacco Boycott. Tobacco Boycott The political Boycott of the British monopolized tobacco in the 1890's The Riot Begins. The Persian people Boycott against buying Tobacco. Tobacco Was was a dependent Crop grown in Persia People in Persia, Were against the selling of Tobacco to the British Government. Tobacco Farmers Become Broke. Persian families suffer greatly from the shah's decisions They become very broke and decide to protest Nasir Al-Din Shah The Shah Of Persia granted concession to Major F.G In exchange Tybalt granted Shah 15,000 pounds. The Shah never helped the people in Persia instead he spent the money amongst himself.
