Lenten Project
By: Caesar, David, Jessie, Pablo
Our Lenten Project objective was to collect clothing items that people don't need or they don't want and we will donate it to a local Goodwill.
Sponsored By Goodwill
In the last year, Goodwill has helped more than 9.8 million people access the career, family and financial support services they needed to succeed. But the impact doesn't end there, the planet also benefits when you choose to ditch the dumpster and drop your items at a Goodwill. In the past few years Goodwill has helped keep billions of pounds of clothing and household items out of landfills.
What does Goodwill do ?
In our Lenten project we were able to collected some clothing from people and we took these items to Goodwill to donate
We were able to change lives and help those that are going to reuse the clothing because they need it more than anything
What have we achieved ?
The Beatitude that our Lenten project involves is the Second one which is, Blessed are the meek : for they shall posses the land. It relates to this because those who are meek will get their share
What Beatitudes are involved ?
What have we learned
What we have learned during our Lenten Project is that some people in our world need something that we may have everyday. As a quote says "One man's trash is another man's treasure." We were able to help out those that need help on getting a career, clothing, or other necessities.
Now that we have gotten to the end of our presentation we want to YOU to also donate to Goodwill and change lives in many ways. Maybe by just donating a sock, shorts, pants, or that sweater that you keep in the back of the closet that you never use anymore. Anything and i mean anything can make a difference in someone's life. It's all about your decision and what you want to do with those old clothes. Well thanks for watching an remember to Donate. Shop. And Change a Life!
Thanks for Watching!
