A microblogging platform and social media site that allows users to post multimedia and other short-form content to a blog

'Follow' and 'Like' capabilities
Dashboard - displays recent posts by blogs user follows
Queue - schedules future posts (over hours, or days)
Tags - allow audiences to find posts by searching topics under hashtags (e.g. #tumblr)
HTML editing - customizing appearance of user's blog
Reblog - ability to repost something from another blog onto one's own
A New Age
In the new technological age, products aren't necessarily tangible. Social media is now an in-demand product, with various sites competing for more users. In the sea of sites of the Internet, one website stands out. Its name: Tumblr.

More than just a Blog
A new tool that can be utilized by firms to get the attention of young adults
Many campaigns such as the 2012 Presidential Election and the Occupy Wall Street Movement have realized Tumblr's usefulness
