Danger to birds and bats has been a concern wind power As of May 2009 80 countires around the world, are runing on wind power. July 1887 Scottish professor, James Blyth undertook wind power experiments. In 1891 the U.S, Charles F. Brush
produced electricity with wind power. With wind speeds at 47 mph and and altitude of 12,000 feet,
we can power 323 homes. (980kw) Wind power is $55.80 mW-h
Coal is $53.10 mW-h, and
Natural Gas is at $52.50 mW-h mW-h is a unit of energy. It stands for One Mega Watt Hour Compared to the environmental effects of traditional energy sources, the environmental effects of wind power are relatively minor. Wind power consumes no fuel, and emits no air pollution, unlike fossil fuel power sources. We think wind power is efficient and earth freindly. We believe that we keep up with wind power, even if it cost more. It can help out or plantet and
our lives.
