This advertisement attempts to draw dark emotions associated with death through it's harsh statements such as:

Proactiv is featuring Jessica Simpson, a celebrity, on the cover of this ad. This is an ethical appeal because they are persuading customers to buy their product by focusing on the credibility of the persuader. ( Jessica Simpson )
This is an advertisement in use to deter drinking and driving. Similar to the previous advertisement, this ad provokes the thought of death, something we all fear.
This ad also appeals to ethos. It is an Oreo ad that features Shaquille O'neal. Once again, they are focusing on the credibility of the persuader. ( Shaq )
