ART Movements! POP ART! MINIMALISM! SURREALISM! Minimalism was influenced by the need to rebel against
the abstract expressionism. Some famous artists in the minimAlIsm age were Piet Mondrian And
Frank Stella. Some famous Art peices were "Composition No. 10" and
"Die Fahne Hoch!". The public reation to this movement was that People were shocked to see that artists were making completely basic paintings,
and selling them for thousands. K Key artists in this movement were salvidor dali and
rene magritte. Famous art peices in this movement were the son of man and Persistence of memory. Surrealists Used the element of Surprise to their advantage in their paintings. Surrealism eventually affected the arts, literature, political views, movIes, and music. Key artIsts were ROY LICHTENSTIEN AND ANDY WARHOL A FEW ART PEICES WERE THE CAMBELL'S SOUP SERIES,
AND GIRL WITH HAIR RIBBON. a VARIETY OF ATTITUDES LED TO THE POP ART CRAZE. pOP ART WAS ORIGINALLY BRITISH, AND THEN CAME TO AMERICA. DIE FAHNE HOCH! PERSISTENCE OF MEMORY
