What is the symbol that is always seen at a synagogue?
What does the word synagogue mean?
The three main purposes a synagogue has is.......
They are used for teaching, praying and meeting people.
What is a Rabbi's Role?
The Rabbi is usually the sermon (the teaching part) they teach people about the Torah.
What is the Torah?
The torah is the first 5 stories of the Jewish bible.
Shabbat is the service, song and reading in the synnagogue.
Which way does the ARK face?Why?
The Ark is usually on the wall facing Jerusalem, because it faces east to the holy city.

The Star Of David.
The symbol is the star of David fond on the roof, door or window of the synagogue.
It means a building in which Jews meet for religious worship or instruction.
Why do people not touch the torah with their finger?
As a matter of respect and in order not to smudge the hand written letters in the torah.
The Menorah
It's a 7 branched candlestick the oldest symbol of the Jewish faith.
The purpose of the enternal light is...
It symbolises Gods eternal presence.
