What I think is a typical Australian
I think a typical Australian is someone who lives in Queensland and has a family of 4 people with kids and 2 parents 1 mum and 1 dad. I also think that a typical Australian has a 2 story house with a dog, a pool, trampoline and a back yard. A typical Australian has 2 males and 2 females in a family (including 2 kids 1 boy and 1 girl and 2 parents a mum and a dad) and they go on holidays 4 times a year mostly to the beach or camping. They would have 2 cars one for the mum and one for the dad and the car they would have is a Mazda. The average kid age would be 9 and the average parent age would be 40. The kids would go to a catholic school and the parents job would be an accountant. Both of there parents would be born in Australia and the kids would be also born in Australia and the whole family would speak English at home and outside.

From the data collected describe the characteristics of an average Australian

The data collected from the Australian Bureau of Statistics states that an average Australian lives in a capital city. The average age is thirty-seven years old and the parents are married. There are two children in a family mostly one boy and 1 girl. The average Australians owns two cars, there are two parents one mum and one dad and two kids one girl and one boy (two males and two females) and most go to the United Kingdom for a holiday. The data also collected from the Australian Bureau of Statistics says that the average Australian is catholic. according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics the average job for women are- primary school teacher and the average job for men is a trades person, the average person is born in Australia, most people live in New South Wales and they speak English.
How are you an average Australian? discuss your similarities and differences from the data collected.

I am an average Australian because there are 2 parents in my family , 2 cars, I speak English, I'm catholic, I have a pool, My parents are married and I have a backyard. The similarities with the data collected is that there are 2 parents, 2 cars, speak English, catholic, pool, live in a capital city, born in Australia, both parents born in Australia, my parents are married and I have a backyard. The differences with the data collected are that I don't live in NSW, we don't go on holidays to the UK, my dad isn't a salesman and my mum isn't a primary school teacher or a shop keeper.
How has your perception changed of what is an average Australian?

My perception of an average Australian has changed because I thought that most people would go to the beach for a holiday but the 2011 census tells us that 70% of people go to the UK for a holiday and I also thought that most people would go to a catholic school but again the 2011 census says that most people go to a State school. I also thought that most people would live in QLD but most people live in NSW according to the Australian Burue of Statistics.
