Double click anywhere & add an idea Natural hallucinogens such as LSD,psilocybin, mescaline, DMT, THC, etc. are viewed as materials that have no benefit to mankind, and are labeled schedule 1 narcotics. In the eyes of the people who use these chemicals for
spiritual, mental, and social help the chemicals can be
a gateway into enlightenment. The classification of a schedule 1 drug is a drug that has no purpose for medical use. But does the governement not consider that mental & spiritual health is something that drugs can affect positively? The Fact is that for centuries people have used natural substances as gateways into there subconscious, as well as gateways into their chosen religious belief. The use of such substances can be life changing, and change the persons view of the world to a more positive standpoint. Mental health is an issue that should not be taken lightly. Modern synthetic drugs used to treat mental issues more often than not can be very harmful to ones self. But if natural hallucinogens were approved to be used for medicinal purposes, the mental health of individuals could be improved significantly wihtout negative side effects. Let me ask you something, have you ever heard of a famous person viewed as being notorious for the use of hallucinogens being a violent or destructive person? In my memory banks there is no such person. Such individuals seemed to have strived for a world of peace, without war and suffering. Maybe if everyone opened there eyes with hallucinogens the world would be a better place, just a thought though. I'm not saying that every person should be able to just go out and by these drugs. I only suggest that they be regulated and distributed to people that have been approved by a licensed physician who feels that the drugs could have positive benefits for the user. Friends can help each other. A true friend is someone who lets you have total freedom to be yourself - and especially to feel. Or, not feel. Whatever you happen to be feeling at the moment is fine with them. That's what real love amounts to - letting a person be what he really is.

Jim Morrison- User of Hallucinogens "I used to live in a room full of mirrors; all I could see was me. I take my spirit and I crash my mirrors, now the whole world is here for me to see."

Jimi Hendrix- describing his use of hallucinogens If I hold back, I'm no good. I'm no good. I'd rather be good sometimes, than holding back all the time.
