Transcript of Earth Day - What are you doing?

Our Earth provides us with everything we need... ...but we are slowly depleting our resources. Currently we use the equivalent of 1.5 planets... ...this means it would take 1 year and 6 months to regenerate what we use in a year. And this rate of consumption will only continue to increase... ...unless... Lets talk about the elephant in the room. Well, it's not actually an elephant, but let me explain.... We reduce our consumption and waste... ...yeah there's a lot of that. And our population is only increasing... So what can we do then? We have to start at an individual and community level. = = If a house represents our Earth... ...and a room represents a city... ...then why don't we just start by cleaning one room? And if we all clean our own rooms then maybe we'll slowly reverse the damage we've caused! What are you doing to protect the planet?
