Fun in the sun Adventure Imagine a week of swimming in subterranean rivers, rappelling down limestone ravines, zip-lining over a verdant canopy, scuba diving the deepest depths of the Atlantic Ocean, and kayaking into a glow-in-the dark bioluminescent bay. Imagine doing this all in one destination. Here in Puerto Rico we have a little over 57 different zip lines! Its not just quality but quanity that matters. Theres also kiteboarding, hang gliding, horseback riding, and ATV's. Basic Facts Puerto Rico is 100 miles by 35 miles. Trade winds ensure year-round subtropical weather. The average temperature is 74 degrees F., however, highland areas are cooler. Puerto Rico has a population of 3.8 million people. In Puerto Rico compulsory universal education is enforced. Spanish and English are the official languages of Puerto Rico. Sports If you aren't about adventure there are surely enough sports to do. Sports include baseball, basketball, biking, skating, boating, cycling, fishing, golfing, hiking, wind boarding, and volleyball. Puerto Rico has so much to offer. You'll never be bored here. Theres something for everybody to do. Children Fun There's a special place called "Kids Town" where no parents are allowed to enter. When your'e here there is a wardrobe full of costumes and dress up accessories. Parents also like Puerto Rico because it's a family destination and it's nearby, warm, and relatively inexpensive. Who couldn't forget the amazing waterparks Puerto Rico has to offer. You and your children could have some fun. Do you love beaches? Well theres 270 miles of them here! Snorkelers will find hundreds of reefs. There surfing beaches are ranked one of the best in the world. With a little over 300 beaches there will never be a boring time. Famous people Many famous people have lived or live in Puerto Rico right now. Ricky Martin is one celebrity that lives in Puerto Rico still today. If you don't know Ricky Martin, he makes music. Ricky has made many songs up to this day.
