BAKERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
INTRODUCTION
The project is about making a database for the bakery to make the records of the employees, sales/purchase and products
The current system is very in-efficient since they have to record each and everything on registers, which is difficult to manage.
The database is built on MS Access and very simple to use .
Meeting with the owner
The owner showed great interest in the proposal.
He was convinced by the idea of using electronic media which is far more efficient and less time consuming.
The employee record is entered by the owner and no one else can access it moreover there is very little chance of data loss.
Advantages and Disadvantages
ADVANTAGES

 The current system is not dependant on the electricity.
 It is not much expensive as almost all the records are written in registers.
 There is no need to hire an expert of computerized system, as the present staff is familiar with the current system.

DISADVANTAGES

 The existing system is much time consuming.
 Much inefficient as the chances of mistake are increased in manual work.
 It is difficult to manage numerous registers.
 It is unsafe as anyone can have access to it.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The project is based on following objectives:
The basic aim of the project is to provide the search, delete, record and updating facilities which would be much more efficient and less time consuming. The software will allow the owners to maintain their entire record in one place which will be easy to manage. It will also reduce the risk of errors.

DESIGN PHASE

Analysis:
Initially we did the analysis of the existing system. we observed every aspect of the system in detail which took almost 20 days.

Design:
In this section we made rough sketching of the forms and reports. Then these sketches will be designed using Microsoft Access.

Coding:
this phase includes coding of forms, reports, and queries. It will make the software executable.

Testing:
Testing will include dry running and debugging of the software. Data will be entered using forms and would be displayed through reports.

Deployment:
After testing, the software will become error free and ready for installation. The method for using the software will then be briefed to the computer operator or the owner of the shop.
