Gerthe 6 Government Major Imports Currency Major Exports Aruba is a country run by a Parliamentary Democracy. The governor of Aruba has a six year term and is appointed by the monarch ,while the prime minister and deputy prime minister are elected by the Staten (parliament) for four-year terms. The Staten is made up of 21 members elected by the people for a four year term. The major imports of the country are crude oil, machinery, and electrical equipment. The major exports are art, collectables, live animals, animal products,machinery ,and electrical equipment. The currency used in Aruba is the Aruban Florin.
