Martin Johnson Martin Johnson (born 9th March 1970) is a former English rugby union player who represented and for captined England and Leicester. He was mostly known for captaining England to victory in the World Cup in 2003. He is regarded as one of the greatest locks to have ever played. He became the new England team manager on 1 July 2008, replacing the previous manager Brian Ashton. Early Life

Martin Johnson was born in Solihull in the West Midlands, the second of three brothers- his younger brother Will plays back row forward. At the age of seven, his family moved to Market Harborough,Leicestershire, where Martin attended Ridgeway Primary School, Welland Park School and Robert Smyth School.

Determined– He was determined to win the World Cup in 2003.
Confident– He was confident to win the World Cup in 2003.
Passionate– He was passionate about rugby.
An example– He lead an example to all his fans.
