1880-1889 By 1900 the industrial revolution had changed the entire worlds economy. One of the main improvements to the economy was the newly made nation-wide railroad system which changed the entire transportation network. The railroads allowed quick and useful transportation of finished products to markets quickly. Another huge increase in the economy was the huge increase of immigration with the 789,000 immigrants coming a year to work in factories, mines, and businesses created by the new booming economy. The beginning of workers rights was coming into play as well with the American Federation Of Labor which made more and more people wanting to work. In general the economy was booming due to major advances to technology and transportation. https://www.google.com/search?q=coca+cola+started&um=1&hl=en&biw=1366&bih=646&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=UROLUbKkN4XMyQGn3oCYAQ#um=1&hl=en&tbm=isch&q=yorktown+battlefield&revid=800894463&sa=X&ei=yxOLUZ3QD6S7ywH5voG4Dw&ved=0CIEBEIMW&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.46226182,d.aWc&fp=9d87476c0abff174&biw=1366&bih=646&imgrc=6LBZaWL9tehnzM%3A%3BShlUC7jwy0tsqM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.britishbattles.com%252Fimages%252Fyorktown%252Fyorktown.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.britishbattles.com%252Fbattle-yorktown.htm%3B460%3B331 https://www.google.com/search?q=coca+cola+started&um=1&hl=en&biw=1366&bih=646&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=UROLUbKkN4XMyQGn3oCYAQ#um=1&hl=en&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=coca+cola+started&oq=coca+cola+started&gs_l=img.3..0j0i24l2.1785.5892.5.6368.8.7.0.1.1.0.103.650.6j1.7.0...0.0...1c.1.12.img.7Q0H6bbeqY0&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.46226182,d.aWc&fp=9d87476c0abff174&biw=1366&bih=646&imgrc=wNa03BAYcPsV6M%3A%3Bs63GM58dK1nA2M%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Ftherecycletimes.com%252Fwp-content%252Fuploads%252F2010%252F12%252FCoca-cola.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Ftherecycletimes.com%252Fcategory%252Fsolar-power%252Fpage%252F8%252F%3B386%3B386 https://www.google.com/search?q=coca+cola+started&um=1&hl=en&biw=1366&bih=646&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=UROLUbKkN4XMyQGn3oCYAQ#um=1&hl=en&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=1880-1889&oq=1880-1889&gs_l=img.3...123561.133746.7.134322.59.27.14.2.2.10.168.2456.20j7.27.0...0.0...1c.1.12.img.PMO1INwBwJE&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.46226182,d.aWc&fp=9d87476c0abff174&biw=1366&bih=646&imgrc=ha9TJXFhvOMaCM%3A%3BDPAXxXziCPJuJM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Farchives.library.oregonstate.edu%252Fchronology%252Fimages%252F1880%252F1880-1889.gif%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Farchives.library.oregonstate.edu%252Fchronology%252Fchron_1880.html%3B391%3B51 Science and technology was also a huge step forward during this time.
