What is simplest form?
Fractions can be simplified when the numerator and denominator have a common factor in them. If both the numerator and denominator have common factors, then we can cancel these factors out. For example, in the fraction 8/12, 4 is a common factor of both 8 and 12.
If you have the fraction 4/6.
Let's use the common factor of 2!!!

What is 4 divided by 2? - 2

What is 6 divided by 2? - 3
If you have the fraction 4/6.
Now that you have divided. Let's take the number 2 and 6 - and create a fraction
Your New Fraction
2/6
So 4/6 in simplest form is!!!
2/3 :)
If you have the fraction 4/6.
Does the number 4 and 6 have a common factor?

-Can you divide both by 1? Yes
-Can you divide both by 2? Yes
-Can you divide both by 3? No
