What is a Society?
a community, nation, or broad grouping of people having common traditions, institutions, and collective activities and interests.
What is an Institution?
a practice, relationship, or organization in a society or culture
1. Family
to pass on genes, nurture, and teach community values.
3. Religion
to answer the unanswerable, establish morality, and to deal with death and the afterlife.
4. Education
to educate and teach skills
5. Economics
who will own or control resources, what will be produced, how it will be distributed.
2. Government
to make rules, and to determine punishments.
