They Told MeTo Give UP
Eminem needed rapping for his life to be complete as a child. He never knew his father, Marshall Mather's Jr., who abandoned the family when Eminem was still an infant. His uncle was the one who introduced him to rapping. Eminem was raised by his mother, Deborah Mather's. She never managed to hold down a job for more than several months at a time, so they moved a lot between Missouri and Detroit, Michigan, spending large parts of time in public housing projects. He had no close friends, keeping almost completely to himself and was treated like a failure at each new school. He was beat up in the bathroom, beat up in the hallways, and shoved into lockers. Mathers went into competitions and was the only white person there. Now he is one of the best rappers in the music industry. So as you can see Eminem has gone into competitions, was bullied and abandoned
Mathers was inspired by his father. His father left him when he was 6 months old. Eminem was upset and angry and kept his feelings to himself. So then when he got into the music industry his dad inspired him because he put all his feelings into songs.
Another person who inspired Eminem was Dr.Dre. When Eminem was a kid he was introduced to rap. Dr.Dre motivated and pushed Eminem when he gave up on music.
When Marshall tried to attempt to contact his father during his childhood he ignored all of his son's letters.
"I would change schools two, three times a year," Eminem later recalled.
