Transcript of Time Square
since 1920 there were theaters, musicals, cabarets and famous hotels along the street
in the 1940th: Tradition with advertisement began Decline with the TVs at home began the problems: Visitors of the theaters, musicals, cinemas and cabarets stay away
most activities must be closed and the buildings were broken down
in buildings that were not broken down came striptease bars, erotic shops or something like that, so that the famous street changed in to a red light district. Reanimation in June 1980 was an art exhibition next to Times Square
in the middle of the 80th the Times Square Business Improvement (TSBI) was build
they developed the Street and after the big concerns were back, theaters, hotels, cabarets, cinemas etc. came back too
today every new building has to have an advert table on the wall, to save the old picture of Times Square
