Her roman Name Her Roman name was Diana but her Greek name was Artemis.In Rome she was goddess of hunting and of the Moon and of children. Her Appearance she always carried a bow and arrow and wore a crown that had a moon on it. Her Purpose Her Symbols

The goddess of hunting, the modest Artemis was the protector of animals and young women. Artemis Her Family Her parents were Zeus and Leto. Artemis never married. Her Throne Artemis sat in a throne made of silver. The back was shaped like a boat, with a date palm at each side.The image of a female bear was carved into the throne, and a wolf's skin covered the seat. Her symbols were the wild dog,deer.
