Transcript of Joesph Goebbels

Joesph Goebbels
Hitler's Right Hand Man When Joesph showed his devotion for Hitler, he was appointed the disrtict party leader in Berlin. He now had the right to control radio, press, cinema, and theater. His most common propaganda was against the Jews. Joesph was denied into serving in World War I due to his clubbed foot. This made Joesph angry because he was always self conscious. Soon after he joined the Nazi Party. "Hitler is there. Great joy. He greets me like an old friend. And looks after me. How I love him! What a fellow! Then he speaks. How small I am. He gives me his photograph. With a greeting to the Rhineland. Heil Hitler! I want Hitler to be my friend. His photograph is on my desk."
-Goebbels
One of his first acts was that of burning books rejected by the Nazi Party. With his position as the propaganda minister, he perfected the "Big Lie" technique: that if a lie is as bold and is repeated over and over again, it will be believed by masses of people. For example, his lie of stating that many of Germany's minor ethnicities were to blame for trying to destroy Germany, and that the Nazi party were trying to take defense. He organized an attack on Jews in which hundreds of synagogues were burned and thousands of Jews were murdered and assulted. He was most likely a good friend to Hitler because they both shared evil thoughts and hated Jews- for really no reason. They were both men of hatred and unfortunately believed in the same wrong-doing actions. In the end, Joesph and his wife killed their six children and shortly after committed suicide.
