Transcript of Wind Power

the energy sources Wind power is the conversion of wind energy into a useful form of energy, such as using wind turbines to make electricity, wind mills for mechanical power, wind pumps for pumping water or drainage, or sails to propel ships. Wind power is produced by using wind generators to harness the kinetic energy of wind. It is gaining worldwide popularity as a large scale energy source, although it still only provides less than one percent of global energy consumption. Tidal Power Tidal power is generated by the bulk motion of water. Tidal flow arises from the cyclical motion of the moon relative to the earth, and to a lesser extent, the cyclical motion of the sun relative to the earth. As the distance between the earth, sun and moon changes, gravitational forces change as well. This causes periodic changes of water level which cause tidal currents. These currents can then be used to generate power.

For Tidal Power I think that it is a nice way of making energy in a friendly way and I think that it is useful by making the world a better place. The use of solar power became very popular in the 1970s, but has fallen in and out of favour since depending on the potential savings when compared with fossil-fuel energy costs.

Solar POWER I dont agree with solar power i think that it is better to have tidal power and wind power because i think that solar power would take more space and doesnt look as attractive as wind power however for tidal power, you really wouldn't be able to see it. Wave power Ocean waves are caused by the wind as it blows across the sea. Waves are a powerful source of energy.

The problem is that it's not easy to harness this energy and convert it into electricity in large amounts. Thus, wave power stations are rare.
guess what these are ? I'll give you a clue they all have power at the end of the word! :) :D By Bardha Halimi

Wave Power
I think that Wave power is a good idea because it doesnt cause anything to do with ruining the landscape or distracting anything from anyone. So by having more of the Wave power it will help the world environmentally. My opinion on wind power is that its a very good enregy source to be used in England to help the World and enviormentally. I personally think that Wind Power is the best energy source to be used. Wind power
