Types of applique Fashion Applique: Means "to put on" in French and is a technique used to decorate the surface of fabric . Applique Mr Potato Head Decoration and customising Your Mr Potato Head Ideas Step by step Applique Julien Macdonald Burberry Superdry Step 1 Trace design Step 2 Step 3 Step 5 Depending on chosen design, embellish pieces to add texture and interest. Step 6 Sew features to face using either sewing machine or hand stitching. Applique artist Claire Coles Potato Brain Storm Step 4 Select features from magazines, newspapers,
photographs etc and design
your own Mr Potato Head.

This gives you the chance to be as creative and adventurous as you like! Once design chosen, trace
image carefully. Ensure features are traced
separately, leaving space
