Paul Revere had 11 siblings and 2 parents.He married Sara Orne and they had 8 children, Deborah, Paul Jr., Sarah, Mary, Frances, Mary, Elizabeth, and Isannah Revere. Later Sara died and Paul Revere married Rachel Walker and they had 8 children, Joshua, John, Joseph, Lucy, Harriet, John, Maria, and John Revere. Five of Paul Revere's children died when they were only babies.
As a child Paul Revere lived in Boston, Massachusetts and went to school at North Writing School. He also went to the Old North Church with his family in Boston.
Paul Revere was very important not only because of
what he did but how he did it.He was a officer in the
French and Indian War. He made an engraving of the Boston Massacre.Paul Revere was a very important messenger.
He rode a very important ride to Lexington and Concord .Paul Revere's horse was named Brown Beauty.He went door to door saying "The British Are Coming"!
Did you know that Paul Revere's ride is a myth! The term
"The British Are Coming"comes from a poet named Longfellow .
This is why Paul Revere is significant .
Paul Revere's famous Midnight Ride
took place on April 18,1775 from Boston
to Lexington,it warned Americans about
advancing British troops.
Paul Revere was born on January 1,1735
and died on May 10,1818. He was 83 years
old when he died.
Paul Revere had many jobs. A few of his jobs were dentistry, silversmithing, and he was also an express rider. He had so many jobs because he needed to provide for his large family and always found interests in each job.
