South Africa also touches three oceans: the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, and the Southern Ocean. The country has "Big Five " Safaris: buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard and rhino.
Human Environmental Interaction
The country has built Dams for Hydro-electric(water flow producing electricity). They clear large areas for grazing, farming, and livestock raising. While the change the environment they are making certain African species endangered.
The movement is mainly around Africa traveling to India. Capetown is a big trade center along the ocean. When traveling around Africa, because it used to be the only way to India. The country contains 18 wine routes 99% in Western Cape.
South Africa contains a desert called the Kalahari Desert. The fact that South Africa is surrounded by three oceans makes it different, because the only other major countries that touch three oceans are Canada, South Africa, and the continent of Australia. The South Africans speak many languages. Their national anthem is called The Call of South Africa.
The legislative capital which people are most familiar with is Cape Town(legislative capital). Its absolute location is 34 degrees south and 18 degrees west. South Africa has two other capitals Pretoria the administrative capital and Bloemfontein the judicial capital.
South Africa's relative location is on the southern coast of Africa, and is located south of Namibia and Botswana. South Africa is also located North of the Cape of Good Hope.
