but was not mined untill the mid
1800s. 1800 1900 When the civil war broke out the
Kanawaha mines had to be shut down http://thenarrativeimage.blogspot.com/2007/10/opal-creek-trail-to-cedar-flats.html http://www.wvgs.wvnet.edu/www/geology/geoldvco.htm If Obama gets his way, their
will be no coal powered plants
because he says that he will
charge a huge sum for the relase
of green house gases http://www.wvrecord.com/news/215679-coal-official-calls-obama-comments-unbelievable The coal industry can overcome
this obstacle that the new 'president'
has put up by not building any more
power plants that are powered by coal. I believe that coal is not the answer,
it is the problam. Coal is very dangerous to mine and it does affect our ozone layers. When coal burns, it releases green house gasses that destroy a little bit of our oxygen supply. I believe that we can overcome this obstacle by going green and finding other ways to get energy. We can use wind, sun, water, their are even institutes that are studying on urine powered generators. Coal is West Virginia most dangourous job.
You are more likely to die in a coal mine than you
would have been in World War 1. Their are many diffrent ways to die in a coal mine. You can be crushed by a cave in, black lung, poisinous gasses, and explosions. http://www.colordarcy.com/wordpress/barack-obama-positive-effect-on-brazil-real-estate/67/ Justin Fillinger's 'Why coal Should be Banned'
