Attempts to Solve the Problem
Kyle, Akimi and Sierra were thinking about going through a window. Charles Chiltington told them that they had overlooked the security camera. His comment ended up helping them and they were able to change tactics and not get disqualified. Yasmeen Smith Snyder was kicked out of the game for using a fire exit earlier in the game.
Characters
The main characters are: Luigi Lemoncello, Dr. Yanina Zinchenko, Mrs. Tobin, Kyle Keeley, Charles Chiltington, Akimi Hughes, Andrew Peckleman, Haley Daley, Sierra Russel, Miguel Fernandez, and Yasmeen Smith-Snyder. Mr. Lemoncello was known for his creativity and humor. No one ever knew what he would do next. Dr. Zinchenko was the head librarian who was an expert from Russia. Mrs. Tobin was a 110 year-old dead librarian hologram who would appear and help visitors. The other characters were kids who won the essay contest and were give the first set of library cards and a $500 Lemoncello game gift card.
Problem
The problem was when Mr. Lemoncello announced that the main contest was to escape the library. The first to find the way out was to star in the Lemoncello holiday commercial. The time limit was 48 hours. The contestants could not use the way they came in or the fire exits. They had to hunt for clues in different areas of the library. There were no rules against forming teams, so some players became allies. Some teams broke apart. Team Keeley won and team Chiltington lost.
Resolution
Problem was resolved when Kyle Keeley's team put all the clues together and cracked the final lock to escape from the library. They relied on Haley Daley who switched teams and helped them find the book box which was an important clue. There were only fifteen seconds left when they managed to escape and won the game. Sierra, Miguel, Akimi, Haley and Kyle were so happy that they would recieve the prize and become rich and famous.
