Gough was born on the 11th of July 1916
He was born in Kew Melbourne
He was Australias 21st prime minister
he was prime minister from the 5th of December 1972 to the 11th of November 1975
Whitlman's Life
In 1960 he became Labors deputy leader
under Calwell.
In 1963 Gough versed Calwell in an election
but did not succeed well.
But then Calwell lost the election against Holt
in 1966.
Finally in 1972 Whitlam took the lead as a prime minister.
Gough was born in Melbourne on the 11th
of July 1916
Once he first finished school he went to University to practice to be a Lawyer
He than became a member of the R.A.A.F
In 1942 he got married to Margret Dovey and they had 4 children
In 1945 Gough became a member of the Labor party
After an unsuccessful election Gough proudly won a federal seat of Werriwa.

Goughs Achievements
As Gough took lead he was the first Labor
Prime Minister in 23 years.
Gough told the Australian troops that were fighting Vietnam to just come back to Australia.
He got along with Aborigines well and
made their rights.
Gough helped the indigenous by giving us
rights to the indigenous.
He always gave up his time to spend with
the indigenous.

He introduced the trade practices arts slashed tariffs.
