By: Katie Casale Who was Joseph Goebbels and What was He in Charge of? Who did He Influence? Joseph Goebbels was Adolf Hitler's right hand man. Goebbels was one of the main political leaders in Germany during World War II. He was very skilled in muniplulating information and was a Minister of Propaganda. He was in charge of all German radio stations, press, cinema, and theater. He would make huge campaigns, like in 1939, to give Germany a reason to invade Poland. He was in charge of influencing the people of Germany to like Hitler and all of his decisions. Why did Hitler Trust/Work With Him? Joseph's propaganda influenced people to believe Hitler was a great leader. Hitler liked Joseph because Joseph would make people think that Hitler was a god. Goebbels was also very smart and studious. He would do anything that Hitler wanted him to do. Joseph made Hitler looked good by the stuff that he would say about him.
