ROOTS
This week's roots are the prefixes for the numbers six-ten.

This will hopefully be another really easy week.
Article of the Week

ACHIEVE
Tangerine
On your interactive reading guide for pages 97-160, you will do the following:
Do Now
This week's topic is FEAR.
Do Now
Copy the quote completely and accurately. Then, respond in a life-changing way.

Copy the topic into the upper-right-hand-bubble.

Now, in the lower-left-hand bubble, write something you already think, feel, or believe about FEAR.
"We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light."
-Plato

In today's lesson, you will read about a program being used around the world to provide girls with access to an education. In March 2015, U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama kicked off the "Let Girls Learn" initiative in Kyoto, Japan. The program, which is being run by the Peace Corps, will initially be implemented in 11 countries: Cambodia, Albania, Benin, Burkina Faso, Georgia, Ghana, Moldova, Mongolia, Mozambique, Togo, and Uganda.
