Network Design for IPv6 Mobile Network & Hotspot
Designing ipV6 NETWORK IN MRSM MUKAH USING DUAL STACK, TUNNELING & TRANSITION.
MRSM MUKAH WILL HAVE THEIR OWN VPN SERVICES.
WIRELESS HOTSPOT WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE POTENTIAL AREA IN MRSM MUKAH.

The internet must run both ip version (ipv4 & ipv6) at the same time
Ipv6 has a number of improvements & simplication compared to ipv4
Ipv6 uses 128 bit addresses as compared to 64 bit addresses used with ipv4.
There is only IPv4 support in MRSM Mukah.
Needed to expand the growth of the network in MRSM Mukah.
Internet availability is so hard to find.

After this project implemented, all network will be IPv6 ready.
We will using dual-stack, tunneling & transition technique to setup this IPv6 network.

VPN services will be able to use in this network.
Encrypted data in the whole network by using VPN Services.

The scope of this system is only for the one school to use it and when there is problem accessing the internet is occurring hence it is out the scope. This system will be use for the end user such as administration, staff and student as well. For the administration it can monitor the operational network and performances of the school and for the staff it can help makes the service more efficiency and avoid error usage of the internet. For the student act as client, it can connect to the network.
•This product can connect to the IPv6 network by using existing IPv4 connection.
•When there is a problem connecting to the internet in the area usually problem from ISP, this project is out of scope.
•By using NAT, you will be able to connect to the internet with encrypted data.

The first 48 bits are allocated for network address which is globally unique, thus globally routable.
The following 16 bits are allocated for subnet prefix within a network to allow network administrator defining the desired internal network hierarchy.
The remaining 64 bits are allocated for Interface Id for nodes.
This proposal focuses on a mechanism to generate this Interface Id in order to simplify the IP address management in enterprise WLAN.
What is IPv6?
IPv6 or IP version 6 is the next generation Internet protocol which will eventually replace the current protocol IPv4. IPv6 has a number of improvements and simplifications when compared to IPv4. The primary difference is that IPv6 uses 128-bit addresses as compared to the 32-bit addresses used with IPv4. Among other things, this improvement is expected to make assigning address to wireless devices easier and accommodate the myriad smart network enabled devices that will surround us in the future.
Study the existing network and verify that the all the equipment installed supports IPv6.
Recommend upgrade of the equipment which does not support IPv6.
The upgrade could be in terms of software upgrade or hardware upgrade/replacement.
All future equipment purchase must ensure that the equipment is IPv6 compatible.
Setup Hotspot Wifi
Setup hotspot that support dual stack IPv4 & IPv6 environment protocol.
User that connect to this hotspot will get both IPv4 & IPv6 ip address.
Hotspot will be installed in potential area in MRSM Mukah such as at the cafe, library, & office.
Hotspot will be monitored and administrated by IT teacher.
VPN Services will be implemented in this project to ensure all data encrypted & save to send.
VPN Services also allow user or client to using IPv6 ip address by using native IPv4 environment.(different with dual stack)
This ensure high security in the network.
IPv4 & IPv6 protocols run on the same network infrastructure.
All device connected to network will have IPv4 & IPv6 ip address.
Device with IPv6 address able to communicate with IPv4 only device.
Hotspot will available in potential area in MRSM Mukah.
VPN will available in IPv6 network.
All device including laptop, pc, smartphone, & tablet able to connect to the network & get IPv6 address.
