The Office of Experiential Learning (OEL) works with employers locally, nationally and internationally to provide Internship, Cooperative Education, and Service-Learning opportunities for UCF students.
Internships are also a great way for students to gain some real-world experience, build their resumes, or just get their feet in the door to jump-start their career.
Internships are a one semester major-related experience that allows students to apply classroom theory to practical work. Some internships are even paid.
Co-ops build your resume and are a PAID experience.
Are you Eligible?
To be eligible to participate in the OEL Internship/Co-op program you must...
The Office of Experiential Learning serves as the academic partner connecting employers and students.
Co-ops are a multiple semester experience where students put theory into practice and develop real-world professional skills for their careers.
Be a full-time degree seeking student at UCF.
Have completed a minimum of twenty credit hours.
For Co-op , be available to work at least two consecutive semesters prior to graduation. For internships, be available to work at least one full semester.
Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Don't meet all the requirements but still want to build your resume?
Enroll in a Service-Learning course and give back to the community while gaining major-related experience.
OEL also partners with nonprofit organizations locally and around the word, giving UCF students the opportunity to help the community as well as gain valuable experience in their field.
