A Bit About Bill Nye
Sundial used on the Mars Rover
In the early 2000s, Bill Nye invested and developed a kind of small sundial. It was called the MarsDial and it had small panels of colour which made colour calibration as well as timekeeping possible.

He developed it back in the 70s and 80s and was very well received at the time as it is still being used today. It affects how we build planes and the distance of how far a plane can travel before having to stop
When did Bill Nye create these things?
How Were They received at the time?
How do they affect science today?
