Uniandino Basic Cycle (UBC) Elective Courses (EC)
This cycle corresponds to the component of comprehensive training in different areas of knowledge included in the curriculum. It consists of 24 credits: 18 of them make up the basic cycle Uniandino (CBU) and is regulated in accordance with the guidelines given by the University and 6 credits in elective courses that students can take at any Department of the University, including permanent sports practices.
Cycle training in Basic Sciences
This training course provides the conceptual and analytical from basic science and looks for students to acquire a solid knowledge in areas such as Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology. For this, the student takes 29 credits distributed in 20 compulsory credits and 9 elective credits.
Cycle Engineering Fundamentals training
This training course consists of 21 credits distributed in 7 courses. These courses are considered the basic action domains must master an engineer to develop their professional work.
Training course in Fundamentals of Industrial Engineering
This refers to the specific grounds of Industrial Engineering and provides the building blocks for development of skills in key areas of work in which it operates an industrial engineer. It is considered that these are the minimum action domains should know a Industrial Engineer to carry out their professional activities.
Terminal or deepening cycle
It consists of 15 credits spread over 5 courses of 3 credits each. Currently there are two options that students can choose to study this cycle: 1) make a selection of these courses in two areas of knowledge specific to the Industrial Engineering or 2) take courses in the Master of Industrial Engineering, in accordance with regulations you have in this program.
Each project goes forward an easier development of some skills but also set different learning objectives according to the time of the student's curriculum
The student must fulfill with the next requirements demanded by the university for all the students in undergraduate programs:
