Theology This is a good book for someone who: wants a more in depth look at ecology
wants to know more about factors effecting the enviroment
is interested in global warming
wants to hear a politician's point of view
wants a solution 1. Agreed with his ideas "What we do today, right now, will have an accumulated effect on all of our tomorrows." — Alexandra Stoddard "We know the science, we see the threat, and we know the time for action is now." — Arnold Schwarzenegger I gave this book 3.5 stars 1 star is the lowest and 5 stars is the highest It read really slowly Was not redundant Al Gore is a great person Evident he cares deeply about this Dreadfully long Many graphics made it more enjoyable He felt this is one of the most pressing issues
Wants people from all nations of the world to come together to fix it
Feels like fixing the environment should be a common denominator
Political parties should not interfere with it 2. Global Marshall Plan is a good idea 2. Global Marshall Plan: 5 Goals
Finding ways to control population
Creating technology to help the environment
Making negotiations with other countries to find agreements
Taking a closer look on where money goes and how it will effect the environment
Coming up with new ways to educate people about the issues It is important for people to be more informed
It is important for everybody to be on the same page with the same goals
Population control would help because more people means more resources are being used that could damage the environment
New technology would mean that more resources could be saved
The less money being spent on other issues could be used to help the environment 2. What is Effecting the Environment 3. Things that Can Help the Environment Global Warming
Use of natural resources
Too much bad emissions
Waste Global Marshall Plan
More efficient technology
More electric cars

Every decade it was estimated that an extra 1 billion people were added to the earth. Once the world went into the Industrial Revolution, that was when the population began to rapidly increase 4. Ethiopia's land mass is made up of less than 1% of trees. A few decades ago, that number was 40%. This is because of deforestation, droughts, and overgrazing. People die there everyday because of diseases that could be prevented. An estimated 37,000 children die there everyday because of malnutrition and other diseases. 5. The government tries to play off the environmental issues as if it is not happening, or it is not as serious as it really is. They try to tell everyone that the environment is not in any imminent danger, so efforts should not be focused on it. They believe that spending money to try and fix the problem would cost more than it is worth. A PREZIntation by: Jessica Sizer The earth's future rests in the hands of the human race and if humans do not take a step back and look at the consequences of the decisions they make, or do not have a plan, then more people will suffer. Support Statistics Population Growth How many species of animal die every year How many people are killed due to drought and famine Change in the atmosphere's temperature Global Marshall Plan Created by the author, he shows a clear plan that needs the cooperation of every nation in the world to work. He looked back on how previous civilizations lived off of the environment and how the way they operated depended on the climate, compared to now with the technology that can suit our needs.
