Transcript of The Glorious Mystery

The Glorious Mystery The Coronation of Blessed Virgin Mary Pius XII (twelfth) established this feast in 1954. Mary got taken into Heaven by Jesus and the Angels. The Queen symbol was made especially for Mary because she is the perfect follower of Christ. The Coronation is one form reverence (amount of discipline to one) frequently shown to images of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She (Mary) is the Mother of the Son of God, who is the messianic (of or related to a Messiah) King. By Alex P. Merten The Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary is the Fifth Glorious Mystery. Once Mary got taken into Heaven, She became recognized as Queen, acknowledged as Queen, and publicly, universally, and we have eternally honored as Queen. The Holy Trinity Crowned Mary as Our Lady, because she is the mother of Jesus and the daughter of the Lord. Our Lady was honored in Heaven on her Assumption because she conceived and gave birth to Jesus Christ the King of the universe. Mary's Crown is an Everlasting Crown of Glory. Coronation, or bestowal of a crown, is primarily intended to be an exercise of justice in recognition of merit (something that deserves a reward). An illustration of the Blessed Virgin Mary being lifted into Heaven for her Coronation. An illustration of the Blessed Virgin Mary meeting her Son Jesus Christ for her Coronation. In crowing Mary, God presented her to the whole court of Heaven, adorned with all the gifts of nature and of grace, and invited all the citizens of Heaven them around Her throne while He proclaimed her the Queen of all the angels, patriarchs (a person regarded as the father or founder of an order), prophets, apostles, martyrs, confessors, virgins, and all the saints. No mind, not even the smartest mind alive, can conceive the greatness of Mary's glory after the Coronation. Now, the glory of Mary borders on that of her divine Son. To her may be applied the words of the Psalmist: "Glorious things are said of thee, O city of God" (Ps. 86:3). An illustration showing Mary getting crowned during her Coronation.
