“The French handshake is a light grip and a single, quick shake.”
french people can get out of the weird hand shake here in USA where it could last forever.

“ On 21 June, the French celebrate la Fête de la Musique (the Music Party), a night celebration commemorating the beginning of summer and the longest day of the year. People gather in cities and villages to listen to groups sing and play music at free concerts.”
this was great to read because I love music and going to concerts so this would be so much fun to go to a FREE concert.
Quote: “France's public transportation system is well developed. Buses serve most cities, and train service extends to even the smallest towns.”
Summary: this is very inserting to me because we don’t have trains at all in most cities.

Who (Describe the person): Name: Charles
Location: Maleville, France
Quote: “6) What cultural traditions are important to you?
I would say that family has always had a central place in the French culture, and I am proud of this tradition. It is unfortunate to see that family ties are weakening over time. Also, although personally as a farmer I have not gotten to take advantage of it, I think it is a good thing that most French employees enjoy five weeks of vacation a year. This allows families to get together in August and spend time with their children, who are out of school at that time. This helps to reinforce family ties.”
Summary/Explanation: This was a real shock to me that works get 5 weeks off at work a year just so they can spend time with family and relax
