The tortoise and the hare

One day, a hare was bragging about how fast he was.
He said," I can beat anybody in a race". Nobody challenged this but one small turtle. "I will race you". The hare laughed and said "Ha ha. You really think you can beat me? Let's race."
The following day, the racers lined up at the start. The hare gave one last laugh at the tortoise before the starter bird gave the signal. The hare raced off, and the turtle plodded on.
The hare, seeing the tortoise so far away, took a nap to show his contempt. But while he was sleeping, the tortoise crawled quietly past him. The hare woke to see the tortoise just at the finish line! He jumped up and ran for it. But he was too late. The tortoise had won. "slow and steady wins the race" the tortoise said. Who are the dynamic characters? Correct!
The tortoise and the hare. A Prezi by Erin Risinger Who was the static character? Correct! The starter bird.
That was a hard one! example number 2:

Excerpt from Harry Potter
book 1 page 71

Harry wished he had about eight more eyes. He turned his head in every direction as they walked up the street, trying to look at everything at once: the shops, the things outside them, the people doing their shopping. A plump woman outside the Apothecary was shaking her head as they passed, saying," Dragon liver, seventeen Sickles an ounce, they're mad..." Who was the dynamic character? Correct! Harry was. And who was the static character? Correct! The lady. A Prezi by Erin Risinger, Jack Rickert, Emma Dilullo, and Steven King (but mostly Erin). Thank you for watching our Prezi!!! If you write in complete sentences, you get 5 extra bonus points!!! So DO IT!!!!!! (duh) :)
