Ancient Assyrian people used an ancient form of writing known as

All writing was done on
clay tablets
which was extremely tedious for the mail carriers to send to other people.
Assyrian's kept records of
military records
and of
stolen/looted goods
The city of Nineveh was found by Iraqi archaeologists in 1856. In the city they found over
22,000 clay tablets.
This proves they had a large population because they would need a large population in order to make all of them
Assyrian's used

languages through time they have a more

language (Neo-Syriac) and and a language of the
past
(Akkadian)

The Assyrian coin is an important asset in proving the existence of complex institutions within Assyria. If they had a form of currency, they must have had a from of government to distribute it and establish a national currency. And since the Assyrians had a form of currency, there must have been a underlying trade system or even a form of tax.

The Assyrians created various military inventions, such as... The wheeled siege tower, battering rams, and iron weapons these where used to take out the opposition.

against enemies, by

in the general directions of the opposition.

because the only reason for currency would be to circulate it among large amounts of people.

Fishers would go to waters and
catch fish

feed the people
in the city. The fish caught,
could feed the people, thus growing the city.
Assyria was a great place;)

aspect to Assyria, because these
soldiers
could
defend from a distance.
Assyria is able to take control of
Babylon
Assyria fell in 612 BCE because of their depleted resources from constant attacking and defending from the Babylonians. Eventualy the King of the Medes, Cyaxares and the Babylonian ruler Nabopolassar joined forces to take Assyrias last large city Nineveh. The son of Nabopolassar later restored Babylonia to power and the great-grandson of Cyaxares later established the Persian empire.

The Seige Ladder: Also known as, "The siege Tower" purpose is to protect the Assyrian soldiers and give them a way to climb cities walls (If they had any). The siege tower would be brought close to the city walls and soldiers inside the tower would try to climb the wall
The Battering Ram: This tool has ben used
througout history and is still used by FBI
today. It was used to break down barriers in
the Assryrians way. They would thrust the
Battering ram at the obstical to try and break
it. Often, this tool was used by multiple men
at once.
